Okay, I'm a big thrifter too! I love the thoughtfulness you put into each outfit, I am a lot like this myself and it's so satisfying to read through your thoughts about dressing yourself and style. Have you gone down the Kibbe and/or Essence and/or color pallet rabbit holes?? I'm in deeeep and have been enjoying exploring clothing and colors with these guides. I know some may find it restrictive, but I love stuff like that. I wonder if you might, too!
I love that we share that in common, ah! I'm super interested in learning more about Kibbe so will likely be joining you down that rabbit hole soon 😂 I'm excited to compare notes!
So glad that this inspired you, Carly! I'm wanting to start writing about my secondhand finds more so I can continue to find my fellow thrifters here on Substack ❤️
Loved this one! My littlest is almost 4 years old (ack!) and I'm finally starting to feel ready to really find my groove with clothing again. I really want to focus my energy on secondhand for many reasons (cost, the element of discovery/play, sustainability) so this really inspired me. Keep sharing, and please do share any other great thrifting Substackers you come across!
PS - LOVED Crying in H Mart. I listened to Michelle Zauner on audio and it was so intimate to hear her share her story in her own voice!

Love this! Inspired to kick my thrifting up a notch with an 80/20 rule.
